Here's a contradiction - sort of: when we left Wingfield Bassin (45 nautical miles South of our current location) at 5:00am yesterday, the water temperature was at 11.8 degrees celcius.
Six and a half hours later, at Killarney Bay, the water temperature was 18.6 degrees. Same water depth. Reason for this illogical result might be: Wingfield Bassin is fed by the cold and deep (200-500 feet) Georgian Bay; however, Killarney Bay is fed by the shallow North Channel waters.
